Dr. David Pittman
Dave Pittman is not the founder of TBC, but he might as well be. Due to his vision, energy, work ethic, and love for God, the ministry of Temple Baptist Church has grown tremendously under his godly leadership. By June 2019, Pastor will have served at Temple for thirty years and have influenced many for the cause of Christ. Pastor is a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan, but has otherwise adopted well to the Old Dominion.
Dr. Jeremy Pittman
Jeremy Pittman served the Lord in Uganda for fourteen years as a missionary before accepting a call to TBC to serve as associate pastor. His role will be supporting Pastor with visitation and outreach as well as Sunday School. Jeremy has a doctorate of letters, three masters degrees, and is currently working on a doctorate in education. Despite all the academic background, he is a people person who interacts well with everyone. Jeremy's family includes his wife Mandy and their three children. All are big Dallas Cowboy fans.
Assistant Pastor - Music & Missions
Does church make a difference in a kid's life? Absolutely. Brother Branden grew up at Temple and after college came back to minister here on staff. At first, he founded Temple's Spanish Church; now he is the TBC music director. Branden and his wife Bonita have three children: Andrew, Josiah, and Melody. Branden is a do-it-yourselfer, a self-described 'techie', and a long-suffering fan of his beloved Washington Redskins.
Scott DeVane joined with TBC in the summer of 2015. He's done a tremendous job. Bro. Scott came to know Christ when his father led him to the Lord when he was eight years old. As a teen, Scott felt the call of God on his life and surrendered to the ministry. He attended Ambassador Baptist College where he received training in music and pastoral studies. It was during his time at college that he met and later married his wife, Christina. After graduating from college the Lord opened a door for them to be a part of the work at Ambassador, where they would serve for 2 years. Scott has been serving since then in his home church in Florida. Like his wife, he's quite the musican, but his specialty is voice. Scott is a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
