How does TBC minister to men?Monthly men's prayer breakfast - On the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m., the men (and boys) of the church meet at the church for a fantastic, all-you-can eat breakfast. Our men can cook. It's quality and, yes, quantity. You will not leave hungry. After we eat together, we hear a testimony from a church member on how they came to know Christ. Then, we take prayer requests and break up in twos and pray for the various needs of our membership. It's a great time and it happens year around. Joshua Clubs - What is a Joshua Club, you ask? It's a small Bible study of about 5-6 men who meet to discuss a Bible passage and to memorize God's Word. Usually, the clubs meet before the Sunday evening service during the school year, but some clubs meet on a weeknight. It's whatever the group decides. Joshua Clubs are to encourage men to be strong in the faith. The relaxed setting helps.Construction Missions Trips - Each year, the men of our church take a missions trip to help one of our missionaries. Our men have been all over the world assisting people on these trips: Uganda, Bolivia, India, Ivory Coast, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, and Dominican Republic - to name a few. The trips are a wonderful way to bond with other Christian brothers, see the needs of missions, see the world, work hard, and encourage a missionary. We have found these trips are life-changing and incredibly rewarding. Men's softball team - If you enjoy playing softball, this is a great opportunity to support your church and have some great fellowship with the guys. We play in a church league and it's all about the fun. We do play to win, but winning is not the most important thing. But it's a great time. See Kris McWilliams if you are a member interested in playing on the team.
