Men’s Prayer Breakfast

The breakfast is held at 8:30 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. It’s an amazing GREAT (and free) breakfast prepared for the guys by our outstanding crew of cooks. It’s some of the best food around! Then we hear a brief word of testimony and break up into small groups to pray.

Joshua Clubs

What is Joshua Club, you ask? It’s a small Bible study of about 5 or 6 guys who meet to discuss a Bible passage and memorize God’s Word. Usually, the clubs meet before the Sunday evening service during the school year. Some clubs meet on weeknights. It’s whatever the group decides. The idea is to encourage men to be strong in the faith.

Men’s Night Out

We also have the occasional Men’s Night Out to Mission BBQ or some fantastic burger place for fellowship, usually on a Monday evening around 6 p.m.

Construction Missions Trips

Each year, the men of our church take a missions trip to help one of our missionaries.  Our men have been all over the world assisting people on these trips: Uganda, Bolivia, India, Ivory Coast, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic – to name a few. The trips are a wonderful way to bond with other Christian brothers, see the needs of missions, see the world, work hard, and encourage a missionary.  We have found these trips are life-changing and incredibly rewarding.

Ladies Ministries

Patterns

Mrs. Janet Pittman leads this Bible study each Tuesday during the school year at 9 a.m.  It’s a time for coffee, breakfast, fellowship, and Bible lessons.  All ladies are welcome! Loving nursery care is provided.

Ladies Night Out

This program is essentially a “ladies’ night out” just for fun. We may all go to a local restaurant on a weeknight, just to get out for some fellowship. Or it could be a fun shopping excursion. It’s a great time to get to know other believers and to just enjoy each other’s company. Our heart’s desire as ladies is to bring glory and honor to God in all that we say and do.

Heart in Hands

In this ministry, the ladies provide meals for new mothers, or for someone who just had surgery. That’s really the point of this ministry:  to encourage, to help moms, help those in need and to show our hearts through our hands by preparing meals for others.
