Am I good enough to go to heaven?
The Bible’s Answer to that question is that nobody is good enough to go to Heaven. The Good News though is that God’s Son Jesus Christ did make a way for us to be saved and go to Heaven!
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 KJV
The Good News of the Gospel is that God loves us so much that he sent his only Son to pay the price for our sins on the cross. When we accept his gift of salvation by trusting in Jesus, we have eternal life and a guaranteed home in Heaven.
The following verses from the book of Romans in the New Testament of the Bible walks down the “Romans Road” to salvation and surety that we will have a home in Heaven when we leave this world. If you follow this road, truly repent of your sins and ask Jesus to save you like the example Sinner’s Prayer at the bottom, you will be saved and become a child of God too!
The Sinner’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of my sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that Jesus is your Son, and that he does on the Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe that Jesus rose form the dead and I ask you right now to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and Savior. I repent of my Sins and will worship you all the days of my life. Becuase your Word is truth, I confess with my mouth that I am born again and cleansed by the blood of Jesus, In Jesus name, Amen.
